Everyone knows that making a movie means cameras, actors, lights, a Director, and one of those little clapper boards with stripes on the arm. To most people, this is filmmaking; and, most people would be right—or at least about 30% right. This part of the process that people usually associate with the industry actually takes place after lots of work has already been done in what is called Pre-Production. Pre-Production is the preparation phase that includes script work, casting, set design, financial planning, locations scouting and many other things. Then comes Production, including the cameras, actors, and the little stripy clapper board ...
Wait Don’t Leave Yet
Even though Principal Photography is finished, we want you to know that exciting things are still happening. Post Production is going at full steam. This blog will continue to follow that progress and give you insight into all the movie news and also additional information about how the whole process works. Most importantly, we will continue to post updates on prayers and praises regarding the movie. God has blessed us greatly and we seek further blessing from our Great God. “That's a wrap on Principal!” Assistant Director Spencer Jarvis said on October 6, 2009. Many subdued feelings floated on the air that day: feelings of relief, gladness, sadness, and hope. Everyone clapped and cheered but mostly just grinned, too overwhelmed by the moment to react.
